Job Overview

Copia Resources WA, Inc. isn’t just another company. We are building an empire in the environmental services industry. If you’re looking for a cushy 9-to-5 where you can coast, this isn’t for you. We move fast, we solve problems, and we don’t settle for “good enough.”

As a Regional Account Manager, you are the face and force of our client success engine. You’ll own a portfolio of properties, lead service growth, solve problems before they start, and turn insights into action. Your success is measured by your hustle, your service standards, and your ability to build long-term client loyalty.

If you’re hungry, strategic, and energized by fast-paced, high-ownership roles, read on. If you need hand-holding or wait for someone else to tell you what to do—this isn’t for you.

This position will initially be remote. Once a dedicated office is established in the Greater Seattle Metropolitan Area, you will be expected to transition to in-person work. Standard working hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm. This position requires a high level of responsiveness, including availability outside of standard operating hours to address operational needs.

Key Responsibilities – Sales & Revenue Growth:

  • Drive strategic growth across your region by identifying opportunities to expand services, win new business, and maximize property value through upsells and service improvements.
  • Own your pipeline like a portfolio—qualify leads, follow up with urgency, and close deals that strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Partner with leadership to forecast, hit, and exceed revenue targets—your numbers matter, and you’re expected to move them.
  • Package and present complex service agreements like a pro—turn around polished proposals within 72 hours and always follow up within 7 days.
  • Participate in trade shows, client dinners, and site visits that position Copia as a trusted partner in waste solutions.

Key Responsibilities – Client Relationship & Retention:

  • Know your accounts inside and out—service days, haulers, bin details, enclosure maps, contacts, and more.
  • Build trust. Be the go-to expert for your clients. Proactively solve issues and exceed expectations before they even ask.
  • Follow up relentlessly—nothing slips through the cracks on your watch.

Key Responsibilities – Regional Expansion & Field Efficiency:

  • Work closely with Field Operations to ensure that new property rollouts are seamless, on-schedule, and efficient.
  • Collaborate on route planning, bin logistics, staging locations, and transition timelines to minimize disruption and maximize client satisfaction.
  • Anticipate logistical challenges before they arise—and when they do, solve them fast.
  • Act as liaison between clients, customer service, haulers, and internal teams.
  • Local travel is required for site visits, client meetings, and operational support—occasional overnight travel may also be necessary based on regional needs.

Key Responsibilities – Communication & Task Management:

  • Keep your calendar, task lists, and project deadlines ruthlessly up to date.
  • Proactively initiate and manage email interactions, ensuring client needs are met in real-time. We don’t wait—every email deserves a response within 30 minutes.

What We Are Looking For:

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in sales or account management, and handling high-level responsibilities.
  • You can juggle 10 things at once and still execute flawlessly. Multitasking isn’t just a skill—it’s your superpower.
  • You’re obsessed with efficiency. You see waste (of time, money, or resources), and you fix it.
  • You make decisions and own them. No hand-holding, no waiting around for permission.
  • You’re a master of communication. Whether it’s closing a deal, resolving an issue, or leading a team—you get your message across.
  • You don’t crumble under pressure. If you need a safe space, this isn’t it.
  • Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a big plus but not required.

Why You Want to Work Here:

  • You’ll be challenged daily. We push each other to think bigger, move faster, and constantly improve. If you thrive in a dynamic, high-expectation environment, this is the place for you.
  • You’ll be part of something bigger. Copia Resources isn’t just a service provider—we are redefining waste management and setting the standard for efficiency, reliability, and sustainability in our industry.
  • We’re building an empire. Our vision is to expand Copia Resources into the go-to name in waste services, known for innovation and excellence. If you want to be part of a company that’s growing and evolving, we want you on the team.
  • Your career will grow with us. We believe in developing leaders from within and giving top performers the opportunity to take on bigger roles.
